Fraudulent payments

Hi we noticed a very large payment going out of our account, phoned the bank and they have said as it is a pending payment we cannot access the money but it has not yet reached the company/person who has taken it

Until it reaches the company/person it isn’t classed as a fraudulent payment, so they will not reimburse us but can’t cancel it either

So at the moment we are in our overdraft our bills are going out and we have no money to pay for food etc, luckily family are helping us out but the bank do not seem to care as it is a pending payment

it’s going to take 5-7 days for the pending payment to process then another day for the payment to be investigated so we may not have anything until the 12th

Any advise on what to do now? Very worried I’m never going to get it back Confused

What is the company name pending?

What sort of payment is it? Debit card, direct debit, BACS payment, etc. Is there a name on the payment to say where it's going?

They used my card details

Paid to the initials A X S (my card has been cancelled)

I cannot see it on my statement yet but that is what the bank have told us

That comes up as a ticket sales place. Are you sure you haven't bought some concert tickets?

No definitely not, they said it was at 1am and for over a grand I would have been tucked up in bed!
