Why do you want to go into debt? Ask yourself that question.
Then ask yourself: why do they want you to go into debt?
They have a plan, they know that you will spend more if you don't feel the pain of parting with money. They know that some people (enough to make it worthwhile) will rack up larger and larger bills so they don't pay it off each month and thus are charged interest.

The interest rate is quite high. I have got an account with Next but don't owe them anything, I tend to pay for stuff when the statement comes through.

I wouldn't bother. I have a nextpay account, and whilst it has been a help at times, Next have a tendency to take away your available credit at any point. Sometimes for reasons such as paying off your entire balance. They don't like it if they're not making any interest off you.

The main reason i wanted to get it was to get a slot for the sales ,i wouldnt want to get into crazy amount of debt ,just thought it would be handy to have x
