LASTING POWER OF ATTORNEY ,abusing their position?

Has anyone had any luck with The Office of Public Guardian when it comes to LPA acting and abusing their position?

Currently trying to deal with this situation. Is it financial abuse or something else?

As far as I can make out , I think they get involved if the donor has lost mental capacity and the LPA acts fraudulently or not with the donors best interest. I'm going through hell at the moment, couple of days ago I received a letter from OPG and they are going to investigate,

I had growing concerns regarding my elderly grandmother, I had recently found out that my grandmother had sold her property and moved from her home of forty years. My relationship with my grandmother had broken down due to my sibling being a heavy drug user and alcohol dependent his behaviour towards my grandmother had become obsessive and controlling. MS hasn't allowed me to enter my grandmother's house for the last ten years. Even installing video cameras to see who comes to the house when he is out. Leaving my grandmother feeling isolated, Over the years my grandmother had contacted me by telephone and always informed me on what had been happening without MS knowing. On many occasions, large sums of money had gone missing. In 2013 MS and his girlfriend knowing acted fraudulently and claimed on the house insurance, also MS’s girlfriend had used my grandmother's bank details and had two active car insurance policies being paid through her bank. The bank had been made aware and the account was closed. TGF was also very controlling and my grandmother felt intimidated by her. I drove past my grandmothers house and noticed a large skip full of my grandmother's belongings also her walking frame. I was informed by her neighbour she had moved to Ireland (which is out of our jurisdiction). MS is also my grandmother's LPA ,Health and welfare and Property and financial affairs. MS accepted the first offer £30.000 lower than the asking price. My grandmother had always worried what would happen to her house that my Grandparents had worked for all their lives and how she wouldn't want it to fall into the wrong hands if anything was to happen to her. She never wanted to move and we often spoke about her feelings and how she would hate to go into a residential home, I feel MS had Isolated my grandmother for his financial gain, also the sale of my grandmother's property had purposely been sold for his financial gain.
I emailed OPG and they are going to investigate.

Who is "MS"? Is "TGF" their girlfriend?

My health really..I've had afew mini stroke's..also where MS is normaly off his head, if he see's me out in pulic he will go out of his way to get everyone looking at me. By shouting things like I broke into my grandmothers house,'Ive just ran someone over and driven off..thats just two i can think of. if he sees me and theres knowone around he will try and run me over, hit me etc. MS and TGF have thrown paint on eachothers cars in the past . Smashed there car's up in a rage and my Grandmother pays for the cars to be put right or gets other car for them. Im not in the position to replace things they break so I stay away.

That sounds very difficult and frightening for you and also for your grandmother.
