Refundable damage deposit of £150 - to be banked or held as security?

Would expect a person to bank this as it was sent as a separate cheque on a holiday rental?

Payment has been given in full as holiday is in August.

T&C say it will be returned within 2 weeks or return if no damage is caused.

It is just another chunk of money...bread and dripping tonight!

ring and ask if it wil be banked or kept?

They have banked it, only noticed as I was £150 down on my account which I didn't expect. Maybe they should add in their T&C's that it will be 'banked' and not 'held'.

OH at least u know now

but because it is getting closer. Just need to keep an eye on the ££'s for few weeks now.
