Accountant search Bristol

I'm relocating to Bristol and I'm self-employed. I'm looking for a recommended accountant who can help me. Someone who is patient and thorough as I'm useless at finance! If anyone could recommend someone that would be great! Thanks!

Recommendations are fine, but check them out properly, i.e. are they a member of a regulatory professional body, do they have professional indemnity insurance etc. Literally anyone can call themselves an accountant - it's not a protected term in the same way as a solicitor, architect, doctor, etc, so someone calling themselves an accountant or running an accountancy practice may not have any qualifications, insurance nor even experience. You really have to check them out yourself and not just assume that they are competent/reputable. Most professional bodies have websites which have directories of their members, so if someone says they're a "chartered accountant", you can check them out on the chartered accountant's website.
