What benefits younwould be entitled to depend on what he earns. Why is he wanting to go part time. I would havd thought that with a new baby you would be wanting to maximise income ?

If he moves in now and you currently claim tax credits and you live in a full service Universal credit area then you would need to switch to Uc. Once you have 3"kids you cant switch to UC.

hi sorry just seen this, incase part time he could get tax credits incase he's not any better off working full time? Do you know if we would be entitled to rent or anything as when working out both our incomes my student loan his wage we would be left with £275 per week after paying £525 rent
