CSA payments.

My ex and I are on good terms, But he's always a bit cagey around money. After trying and failing to manage child support payments for our son between the two of us we opted to involve the CSA a few years ago. Ex has been in and out of work since DS was born, but he started a new job at the beginning of August. A few weeks later he asked me if I was getting big payments from the CSA because he felt his tax was veey high and maybe the CSA had something to do with this....a few days later I got my usual £6 payment, which I told him.

I haven't had any payments from CSA since that one (at the end of August). Should it not have been more? I'm assuming ex has seen a payslip/been paid as he raised the tax issue. He owes quite a lot in back payments so I expect he is reluctant to offer up his new employment details to the CSA.

Do I need to inform the CSA of his new job or will they know already?

Thanks

He's probably being emergency taxed or just In shock of how much tax takes! Ha

I would definitely phone up CSA & let them know about his new job.
