Hey. Going through messy divorce with h. What's the average percentage of split in equity if we have children? Refusing 70\30 even though it's his fault for walking out on his family🙄

I guess you start at 50/50 and with a good solicitor can negotiate more. Who is planning on staying in the home or is it being sold?

As said above it starts at 50/50 and you need the full financial picture i.e CEVA for pensions for you both, all savings, assets, earning potential, debits.

Then you negociate.

Doesn't matter who's fault the split is. It has no bearing on financial split unless in extreme cases
