moneysavingexpert.com

Will have the latest best deals. True 0% balance transfer offers are rare at the moment as most will charge a percentage to move the money (but could be worth it depending on how much you have outstanding). There are more cards offering 0% on purchases so if the amount is relatively small it would be cheaper to get one of these and do essential (eg supermarket) shopping on this for a few weeks leaving yourself with cash to pay off existing cards. Obviously this needs to be well managed so that you are not tempted to increase the debt!

MNBA has one, but there is a fee for transferring.

natwest does. Have just applied.

tribpot · 07/06/2007 17:03

Halifax have 0% for 12 months on balance transfers (fee payable) see here for details of 0% offers

Wotz · 07/06/2007 18:21

I applied online but not sure how much credit they will give me, so we will see. Now to reduce my mobile phone costs.

I'd suggest Virgin's '3 for 30' if appropriate to you. We get broadband, phone and mobile for 30 quid a month. The mobile deal is 300 mins and 300 texts per months which is masses.

The other way to reduce your mobile bill is not to use it so much! I've been quite ruthless about this until I got the Virgin deal.

I can't do virgin, I work in travel and I want to stamp on Mr B's head!

Who pays for Necker island anyway?
