PPI question

I’ve started the process of claiming through the Claims Guys. They identified PPI I never knew I had on a credit card from uni over 10 years ago. It’s dragging out a bit and I want to know if I can cancel my claim with them and do it by myself.

I signed a LOA but it was in my maiden name. Then I got married, changed my name with my bank (also where the credit card was from) and so the bank is requesting a new LOA in my married name. If I don’t sign it, can I just pursue it by myself or will I still be liable to pay Claims Guys their chunk?
