IVA almost finished

I have to get this out.. we have 6 payments left on out IVA. I am so excited!! Not to have that hanging over us anymore. No more debt!! My DH and I have been together for just over 10 years and both started the relationship with a fair bit of debt that escalated hugely when my DH lost his job twice within the first 18 months. But we have sorted it!! This is the last Christmas where I have to feel sad I can't buy the kids better presents. Next year I know I will have been able to put money away and spoil them.
Maybe me and DH will finally get a night out!! Maybe we can splash out on a taxi so we can both have a drink.
Anyone else made it to the other side?

Four and a half years, six payments left then another year before it disappears from our credit files. Our credit scores were terrible before we started.. they won't improve until we are finished I don't think. One of the conditions of the IVA is that you cannot take on any borrowing whilst in it so it hasn't really mattered.
We have been in debt management plans before we started the IVA. Feels like forever!
