Temporary house share

If anybody has been in the same boat as me please give me advice

My partner and I have been given a temp house share from the council until they can find us a place with our own facilities,
We’ve just seen the place and it’s horrendous! The place is filthy and smells like damp
I don’t think it’s a place you can live in honestly
My mum doesn’t live far from it so if we only stayed their once or twice a week will the council see this?

Because honestly it’s grim and not a safe place at all

Take it. I assume you've got your own bedroom? Scrub the bedroom from top to bottom and make your bed up really nice. Sleep there. Spend the rest of the time at your mums.

Did you post previously about becoming homeless from your family and whether to go into temporary housing ? You can't really be choosy and if it was your mum who officially made you homeless it would look odd to overnight there again. You can spend days elsewhere but really need to sleep there.

Yes I posted a couple days ago.
I think my partners going to stay there on his own, I feel bad but I seriously couldn’t stand the smell.
The kitchen has mouse in it it’s filthy!
