Hi all,
Interested in your favourite meal deals. Have to admit mine is probably Boots, I think its best value for money. Especially when watching the pennies.

When watching pennies then sandwich and a piece of fruit from home.

Are you doing a market research survey?

Buying lunch is a luxury! I'm not really into meal deals. I'm not really bothered about getting drinks or crisps/fruit as an added extra.

If on the rare occasion I do treat myself to a nice sandwich and I happen to be in the city centre, it would be Pret or M&S. I would never consider Boots for lunch.

On a side note, Tesco have the worst sandwiches, really poor. I mention them as that closest store to where I work that offers a meal deal.

Yep don't like them.

Pre-packaged sandwiches are always disappointing and who wants a sugar / sweetener loaded drink when water will do.

When saving pennies I just prepare a fresh packed lunch at home which is so much nicer and healthier IMO.

When watching pennies lunch is brought from home, far cheaper (and healthier) than any meal deal.

Morrisons _ best sandwich, tub of fruit and smoothie for 3.50

LOL at paying 3 or 4 times what it costs to make at home being described as good for when watching the pennies or value for money.

Supermarket sandwiches are almost always awful too. If you buy them and wait a couple of hours so they come to room temperature, they're just about acceptable, but it's always a disappointment when I can't take lunch from home for whatever reason and have to have some crappy ready made option.

I think it is weird to eat an old fashioned school packed lunch thing. Do people really eat crisps every day? And sandwiches are not interesting at all.

Sorry
