LOAN QUESTION??

Hi all!! I applied for a loan last night but it turns out I may not need it anymore.
I got approved and they are sending over the documents to sign and send back etc.
My question is, as I may no longer need this loan anymore, would it hurt my credit score and go against me in anyway if I were to just rip up the docs when they reach me? Or am I better off receiving the loan and paying it off almost immediately.

Planning to get a mortgage in the next 6-9 months so I want to make a sensible decision here.

Thanks!

Just don’t take it. You should have a cooling off period
