Banks accepting old £10 notes in the Notts area?

Hi, I live abroad and have a few old £10 notes that I'd like to exchange for new ones. I should be visiting the UK (Nottingham area) later this summer. Does anyone know of any banks there which will take them? If not, no worries, I'll send them to the Bank of England by registered post. Thanks!

Here in Scotland banks will happily pay them into your account. If you know someone who could do this for you, that might be the easiest option.

If you have a UK bank account the bank should allow you to pay the old notes in, or if you have a friend over here who does they will be able to do it for you. If not, sending them off will be the best solution but I can see you have already clocked thatSmile

Not in Notts but I recently paid an old £10 note I found in an old purse into Nationwide. Wasn't a problem. They even asked if I just to deposit then withdraw a new £10 note.
