Thousand of people have done just that. Smile. You should be fine if you haven't used it, they're pretty good about that sort of thing.

If you cancel it in your account you'll get a refund for everything but this month, I think!

Owlettele · 21/07/2018 19:42

Yes. I went over as forgot to cancel and it was refunded when I did cancel.

dementedpixie · 21/07/2018 19:43

If yiy haven't used it then they should refund it. You can actually set it up to cancel automatically without waiting the full month while still getting the benefit for the whole month

From Amazon website:

You may cancel your Prime membership any time by visitingYour Accountand adjusting your membership settings. You may alsocontact customer service. If neither you nor anyone authorised by you to use your account has taken advantage of any Prime benefits in the current membership period, we will refund this membership fee in full. Otherwise you may be eligible for a partial refund of this membership fee based on benefits usage by you or anyone authorised by you to use your account in your current membership period.

Prime memberships redeemed through a promotional or gift code are not refundable.

Why is it £79 Confused I pay no more than I think £7.99 a month for amazon prime. Did you set it up for yearly charge or something when you signed up?

jellomello · 21/07/2018 19:49

Yes, got it refunded years ago but now I couldn't live without it!

dementedpixie · 21/07/2018 19:52

£7.99 A month is more than £79 A year. You can set it up for monthly but if you have the free trial it automatically takes out the annual subscription

milliememum · 21/07/2018 19:53

Also forgot to cancel after free trial ended, only remembered when money taken out, cancelled on website and got refund in a week no problem!
