My son has just been awarded the highest rate if dla but the lowest rate of mobility How do i appeal? I have to take him to school ( 10 miles away )as he will not go with a taxi driver. He has been like this froma very young age will only let me drive him. Although he will come home in taxi but think his so tired after school he doesnt care. He is profoundly deaf with a level of autism to be decided. He is 5 but the sze of a 3 yr old. His under the care of St Thomas's hospital which is 30 miles from us, and he will not go on public transport at all. Have tried and he became hysterical and violent.

I need the highest rate so that i can claim for the car. Mine hasnt much longer left bit of a banger. Without a car he is very limited on mobility ie wont go on public transport or let anyone else drive him. So how am i meant to get him to school hospital? This was put in the claim form but feels like that have ignored it. How can i appeal and make it successful?
