School uniform grant

Wondering if anyone can help. Does anyone know when the school uniform grant is paid and how it is paid ie into bank account or by voucher etc?

I need to buy dd her uniform for secondary school and the shop have 10% off deal next week but I need the grant to help buy it, I'm guessing I won't have it by then?

I have, but the website only tells you how much it is and how to apply it doesn't say how it is paid or when...
