I live on a new build estate in a smallish town. We have been here a few years now and are contracted into paying a twice annual bill for certain insurances and general maintenance of the borders and car parking spaces.
I live in a freehold house, so it is a little annoying that we're lumbered with this bill but have bitten our lip and paid until now.
A new maintenance company has taken over in the last year, however the estate doesn't look like any maintenance has been done. The pavements which are blocks have weeds growing through them and grass taking over. The borders are full of weeds and where there is grass it hasn't been cut, well probably this year.
I wouldn't say I'm a neat freak, but when your asked to chip in for gardening it's a bit frustrating when you're not seeing any results.
Does anyone know if there is some kind of official channel you can lodge complaints against? I'm hoping it won't come to that but want to be prepared. Also has anyone had any experience with dealing with a similar issue? Thanks in advance.
