I cannot go out without spending, I can’t help it. I spend my money on food mainly even if the fridge is full. Can someone relate and managed to change ?

why don’t you try and de clutter your house instead to adding to the clutter? Buying is an addictive habit and if you put the effort in to sorting out your living space I am sure that would become addictive and divert your mind. The money you save from decluttering you could even redecorate your bedroom or something nice.

I wouldn’t call spending money on food being a compulsive spender.

Gibraltarlady · 25/06/2018 06:36

@Aroundtheworldandback it becomes a problem because I can spend between 10 pounds to 25 pounds a day every day.

Spending money on food can be a problem if you are buying food that isn't needed and gets wasted, or clutters up the cupboards and freezer etc, or are buying things that are too expensive for your budget.

So far so good, only spent 2.50 over the last 2 days and I'm using up the freezer !!!
