Hi I am after some advice please
I tired to access my online account on Friday and it said I couldn’t and to call if any changes
So I waited a day as this had happened before and I contacted them then and they said everything was fine and system was recalculating but this didn’t change
I chatted to them on online chat and they said compliance activity was showing on my account and my whole claim was being looked at not one thing specifically.
Obvious this made my mind go crazy thinking about getting in trouble and I am worrying . I also didn’t want to tell my partner as it’s father day and did want to worry him
Our claim is no childcare , joint claim both working .
Last year partner working full time . Good wage . Me not working and we got little child tax .
This year he has been made a temp . Low wage hours vary . I am now working as a temp to . Hours vary from 0 to 24 a week . Other half does 6-8 hours . A week
So I was told by someone update weekly with new hours and wage as it varies . Since April I have updated income and hours a good few times . Made little difference to payments but given me a few one ofs which I have kept . Could this be a trigger ? No letter yet and will call them tomorrow but bit worried I will end up in prison or some thing !! Thanks in advance

If you are claiming working tax credits your hours between you as a couple must be 24 each week. They are strict on this. If they regularly fall below this you will not be entitled to the wtc. They are probably scrutinising hours to see if you should be getting them.

Ah I see I have only got this since April but have changed hours a few times between then to show what we are actually working a week
