International bank transfer

A friend, who lives in Germany, would like to send me some money by bank transfer to buy some keyrings my son has made for charity. She says it costs her nothing to send in Euros, but that I should check any costs incurred my end. There was obviously be an exchange rate, will there likely be an extra fee on top? I don’t mind taking a bit of a hit on the exchange rate, but it’s a small transfer (under £10), so I don’t want either of us to get charge a large fee for the time transaction. Does anyone have any info on this? Thank you.

I get charged a flat rate for all transfers (sweden - uk and vv)

Could you use paypal instead? Or she buys something online for you and you pay the keyrings.

PayPal would definitely be better for this if it is such a small amount

Less than £10 I would stick it in an envelope or say just forget it
