Tax credits automatic renewal

I’ve had my renewal pack and I was to let tax credits know if the details were correct, I did this online and it says it will be renewed automatically. The thing is I’ve been underpaid for last year so I’m hoping I will get a payment once renewal is finalised. Does anyone know how long the automatic renewal is taking? Thank you

Mine took about a week until the extra bit arrived (on a different day yo normal) then from rge week after my payments adjusted for this year

Was it a large lump sum or a one of payment? I’ve had a couple of one of payments just slightly larger than weekly amounts but I think I’m due quite a bit back? Thank you for ur reply
