I didn't want to go down this route, but xp left me with no other choice with all the lying and deceiving about money.

Does anyone know if the CSA takes their cut off whatever payments you are supposed to receive?
Or is xp just being a lying arsehole as usual, can't find any info on tinternet.

Hi! They aren't supposed to take a cut of your money, although if you are in receipt of benefits most of the money collected will go to the Government. I've found that they take payments from the non-resident parent, keep it for a few weeks, then eventually get round to sending you the payment if you are lucky... Good luck!

Thanks Kiminutter,

Maybe I should try reasoning with xp one more time before csa goes any further.

I'd rather not get them involved, but xp isn't very reliable when it comes to money, although I've heard similar stories with the csa, I guess there's just no winning.

I hate the way xp refers to it as my money, I don't need his bloody money, I'm doing it for my dd, why should I be the only one to provide for her future.

Its money the government says shes entitled to, not me.
