MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Whiterangey · 29/05/2018 12:27

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

It’s great to see the FL ‘Success’ days becoming so much less successful. They’re all in much smaller venues that they were 2 years ago and they’ve even had to cancel one or two in the past 12 months.

Lonelybutnice · 17/06/2018 09:07

@Twentytwentyhindsight no, I was invited by a juice plus bot I have on Facebook. I expressed an interest in an effort to find out some info about this up and coming mlm. I was added to a secret Facebook group and then a whats app thread. She's just booked the trip for all of those interested in joining.

HamishTheTalkingCactus · 17/06/2018 09:21

@Lonelybutnice - curious about how these invites work - presumably these MLM companies don't pay for people to go - so would someone interested book their own travel/accommodation independently - or via the MLM (potential nice little earner there)

Twentytwentyhindsight · 17/06/2018 09:39

@Lonelybutnice - So it's being sold as the Next Big Thing to those perhaps struggling in their current MLM, and going to the launch gets you a seat in the 'inner circle'?

Lonelybutnice · 17/06/2018 09:40

@HamishTheTalkingCactus the potential bots pay all costs themselves but I've noticed that it's cleverly marketed as if there's some sort of exclusivity in the invite itself. There's not. I have zero interest in joining and literally commented on a video saying 'interested' in order to get info on which top FLP bots are jumping ship. I'm now part of a private Facebook group and a whats app group which has revealed lots of apparent 'top secret info' about the products. Nothing yet about the sign up fee or compensation plan (which I am also interested to find out)
I'm now pensively awaiting the photos to be added to the group from the launch. Which I will be scrutinising for recognisable bots.

Lonelybutnice · 17/06/2018 09:41

@Twentytwentyhindsight exactly. But the exclusivity they're all buying into is non-existent. My invitation and entry into the top secret groups came from one comment of 'interested'

Norma27 · 17/06/2018 09:50

Uber- if you never watch tv then why would you pay for sky?
I pay for virgin but we watch it a lot!!

SSDGM · 17/06/2018 10:28

@ArbunneHun Broke was warned by Botwatch and myself that he was getting himself mixed up in something very dodgy from the start but he (as usual) knew better than anyone. He also made out he was earning ££££ from the start and then admitted when it all fell down that he didn’t.

I can’t figure out the legality of the CBD oil. He keeps saying it’s not approved in the UK? He also said that if CBD is cleared for use on prescription then MLM companies won’t be able to sell it? Is that right?

I’ve seen supposedly anti MLM people act like complete bots over this stuff claiming it’s a wonder drug. It’s time the law cleared it up and it was properly regulated.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 17/06/2018 11:02

@SSDGM - Exactly, I remember you saying he had been warned (was it @Toobusytowee ?) and he blustered over it, bragging that he was now a 'certified travel agent', and racking it in, as the potential 'clientele' were a cut above the usual hoi polloi of MLM customers.

It was only when he had trouble getting paid himself that he had an epiphany and 'revealed to the world' that it was a ponzi.

For months the only income he had was from recruiting other 'travel agents' to the scheme. Not one holiday was sold. He knew.

Norma27 · 17/06/2018 11:16

Yawn’s bestie has the forever pics on her fb from the recent Vip event.
I got bored looking at them but there is loads of tumbleweed in them! This must surely be their final year in the UK.

Spongebobette · 17/06/2018 11:38

wow.

That was one VERY exclusive event! Hardly anyone there!!

Spongebobette · 17/06/2018 11:38

and the photo with the cheque holders all lined up says it all really

Twentytwentyhindsight · 17/06/2018 11:53

@Norma27 - The tumbleweed is the most authentic component of the 'Wild West' theme!

rainbowfudgee · 17/06/2018 12:35

Argh. A friend of mine has bought a C9 and is raving about forever. I've trI'd to warn her... it cost over £100!

rainbowfudgee · 17/06/2018 12:35

Tried

Twentytwentyhindsight · 17/06/2018 12:37

If she's raving about Forever, I fear she may have bought more than a C9...

Twirlywooer · 17/06/2018 12:40

Did only 10 people get cheques!? Any why was Uber's so massive compared to everyone else's?

ArbunneHun · 17/06/2018 13:50

Not everyone who got a cheque attended, I didn’t see Castle or Bloodsucker there?

Spongebobette · 17/06/2018 14:28

no, they obviously couldn't be bothered

SSDGM · 17/06/2018 15:00

So one of the anti MLM Facebook groups is being reported by bots. They are taking screen shots of the men in the group who are confronting the bots on local buying and selling pages and posting them on so called “paedo- hunting” pages, accusing them of stalking and being “perverts”.
They’re also reporting them to the police for harraent and breaking data protection laws.

Confused
Norma27 · 17/06/2018 15:25

This has just been shared on a Facebook anti mlm group.
The perils of copy and paste without checking.
4th from bottom! Something to be proud of in any pyramid scheme!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 17/06/2018 15:45

That sounds like a more interesting pamper party than most MLMs put on...Shock

Whiterangey · 17/06/2018 17:01

@SSGDM Is there no depth to which bots will go?

Reporting anti-MLM posters as paedophiles is the lowest thing i've heard in a while. It will also enrage the paedophile hunters as it wastes their time.

It's also wasting police time by reporting them to the police.

Best blow job! Hahahaha! I do like a bit of copy and paste. Grin

Whiterangey · 17/06/2018 19:46

It might not be a copy and past mistake. It's Ann Summers, it's possible there is some incentive or it's the name of something they have to do.
