MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

@ArbunneHun so does Messiah not own the whole house that he is pictured standing in front of?

Whiterangey · 15/06/2018 20:23

Where was that blog about what to do when your friend is sucked in to an MLM? Can anyone remember what blog that was on, thought that would be good to post on that fred but I can't find it

AFAIK Messiah rents an apartment in a house and moved to a different one recently. If you look at the kitchen in the background of his recent photos that is definitely the kitchen of an apartment and not a mansion.

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 15/06/2018 20:51

@BangingOn the house he has just moved to - is that also an apartment - he is definitely giving a different impression

BangingOn · 15/06/2018 21:25

I assume so, look at the photos of the kitchen. It looks like an apartment kitchen to me.

Paddy1234 · 15/06/2018 21:33

So Messiah has done a name change - has anyone any idea of what he changed it from or how you find out? Bet there is an interesting story behind that!

I’d always assumed that the change of name was part of him reinventing himself as a successful MLM guru, something distinctive that would help with the cult of personality he’s trying to create.

Whiterangey · 15/06/2018 23:28

Castle is running a competition, you have to be a customer of hers and then I don't know. The terms and conditions are not printed, you have to PM her for those.

Is that legal?

OP posts:
BangingOn · 15/06/2018 23:45

I think you have to buy a C9. It’s what all of those ‘where would you go on holiday’ posts were leading to.

Whiterangey · 15/06/2018 23:48

I thought competitions where you have to buy something are illegal.

They usually have some blurb about writing to them and they will enter you or something like that so you don't actually have to buy anything to enter, they don't make it simple to enter if you don't buy anything, but the option is there so they are legal.

Messiah had a shit childhood and grew up in foster homes apparently, so maybe he's changed his name so that his real family don't get his 'millions'. Although the back story could be BS. Nothing explains that ridiculous voice/accent though!

BangingOn · 16/06/2018 08:12

White I think you could be right, we run a lot of those competitions at work so I will check our T&Cs.

I thought I’d read something about Messiah living in his parent’s box room before he started MLM, but that doesn’t mean birth parents I suppose.

ArbunneHun · 16/06/2018 08:29

I can’t remember what his original name was. Something normal like Andy? Matthew?

I think he changed it to emphasise his own bellendary, but I could be wrong.

Not sure whether he covers it in any of the features written about him:

I found this re prize draw T&Cs
Although the prize draw must be free to enter, you’re well within your rights to have say, a special promotional product which people must buy to enter the draw. Then, only someone who has purchased a product will win. However, you mustn’t increase the price of your products to cover the cost of the prize or this could be considered paying to enter and then your promotion would be an illegal lottery.

If the promotional prize draw is open to people in Northern Ireland there must be a “no purchase necessary” way to enter. In other parts of the UK this isn’t strictly necessary, but people often include this provision just to be absolutely sure they don’t fall foul of the lottery rules.

BangingOn · 16/06/2018 09:19

Messiah has just posted 10 Commandments. He’s messing with us now Grin

Twirlywooer · 16/06/2018 09:33

Lots of digs at Vida in his 10 commandments.

He definitely looks like an Andy to me.

BangingOn · 16/06/2018 09:45

And admitting that his cheque wasn’t real.

ArbunneHun · 16/06/2018 11:03

12 months ago he was singing the praises of Vida, proclaiming his love and admiration for the CEO, the product, the comp plan...

I know a lot can change in 12 months, but even then he must have known that the tea made you shit yourself.

ArbunneHun · 16/06/2018 11:14

Broke seems to be implying that Evolution Travel has shut down.

I for one never saw that coming... these Facebook ‘Become A Travel Agent In 20 Mins And Never Sell A Single Holiday But Get Paid To Recruit’ schemes (Evolution, Inteletravel) all looked totally legit to me. I mean, who needs years of training, ATOL & ABTA protection, access to big negotiated trade discounts etc to be a successful travel agent?

Twirlywooer · 16/06/2018 12:12

I'm surprised you can decipher what brokebot's on about!! He really should throw in a few commas and full stops every now and again. Or maybe he's been on the funny fags all morning.

Norma27 · 16/06/2018 12:24

Yawn is very proud to tell people she helps others build a six figure income from home.
Stop with the bloody bullshit.
As for being honest rather than impressive- let me assure you that you are neither.
Hope that helps.

Paddy1234 · 16/06/2018 13:04

Hell I really wanted the flak taken away from Yawn. But she keeps on posting ffs. In the worst Mlm vein. Stop it woman!
