MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

@NatashaShingles which one is salon? I can't work it out

Norma27 · 06/06/2018 10:42

Yawn must be dreaming again, of messages from people wanting to work with her.

NatashaShingles · 06/06/2018 10:45

@lonelybutnice The LTW/Traffic Monsoon/Valentus Top not! Repeated offender who had a big lavish wedding last year courtesy of team debt!!

Lonelybutnice · 06/06/2018 10:50

@NatashaShingles is she also former FLP? I can't think of who it is and I know most of them. I was in Lanza's downline

@DoraExplorer99 - I don't think it is even a question of taking the foot of the gas for all the top FLP bots.

Just for their biznis to stand still, they (and their downlines) need to be recruiting as many people as are leaving.

The situation now is that the bottom has fallen out of FLP UK, so more people are leaving. The pool of potential recruits is also shrinking at an accelerating rate.

Even if they keep their foot on the gas (or even press harder), they can't do anything about it.

Some might delay total collapse by working twice as hard, but ultimately it won't do them any good.

The only ones with any hope of surviving in the medium term are those who have 'diversified' into newer markets that have not (yet) reached saturation point.

Spongebobette · 06/06/2018 14:03

Once again, after having a wee look at a couple of Forever Living high up bots' pages, I am filled with horror and the Groundhog Day feeling. Even after years in the business and reaching dizzy heights they have to do exactly the same thing over and over and over.....

Find new team members. 'Train' and 'mentor' them (HA!). Love bomb them on FB (until they disappear without trace)
Attend/ lead 'trainings' and 'success events'
Spend evenings online 'coaching'
overuse the same adjectives and verbs 'smashing' 'cute' 'uber' 'fab'

It must be like living on a treadmill and is my idea of hell, having to do the same things day in day out with no hope of moving on. You may as well work on an assembly line.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 06/06/2018 14:21

Looks like Yawn has not quit the networking thingy, despite no longer having it on her FB profile and not winning the specially-created MLMer of the year award (I suppose the franchise fee must have been non-refundable).

It seems to have turned into an all-out botfest of desperate huns trying to flog their shite to each other.

At least the ordinary folk in the area are safe from their attentions while it's on.

Norma27 · 06/06/2018 14:58

I noticed that twenty.
The neals yard bot has a 3 week old baby. Nothing like a decent amount of maternity leave when you have a newborn.

NatashaShingles · 06/06/2018 15:04

@lonelybutnice well apparently she was but only for 5 minutes, just enough time to screenshot every member of a team page and take them all to LTW!! I didn’t know she actually joined until about 6 months ago but I remember half the team going to LTW at the time. She’s brutal. What worries me more with her is when she tells really damaging slanderous lies they literally roll of the tongue and she doesn’t even flinch! That’s not even normal!!

Norma27 · 06/06/2018 16:16

Think I’ve upset a nuskin bot. I called her out on commenting on another bot’s status asking what the company and product were etc. Obviously trying to fake interest. Don’t know why when all their inboxes are on fire apparently due to this amazing new fake tan being launched today.

ArbunneHun · 06/06/2018 16:28

Nu: Skin appears to have taken a leaf out of FLP’s book and recruited a couple of reality TV ‘celebs’.

FLP having cornered the Strictly market, they’ve honed in on a couple of the Dancing On Ice pro-skaters to flog their over-priced nonsense.

Norma27 · 06/06/2018 16:31

Arbunne I hate it when ‘celebrities’ endorse their products. Nile Wilson and Ronaldo for Herbalife really annoy me. So many young kids look up to them.
I had a nuskin bot friend request me a few weeks ago. Her newsfeed is so bloody boring. Only other bots comment on her statuses too.

ArbunneHun · 06/06/2018 16:40

I think ‘celebrity’ might be pushing it a bit in this case, but I certainly feel the same way!

Spongebobette · 06/06/2018 16:46

OMG I think network marketing is eating itself, that Yawn event was just bots showing each other their wampum. Two of them were from the same company therefore rivals.
Did they all buy from each other? What a fun event.

Whiterangey · 06/06/2018 17:17

That's not networking, that's a group of people hoping to sell their tat to each other. The poor woman with the nails will likely be telling the story of this morning for the rest of her life. She was the only honest person there.

It seems Roomie drove all the way from Devon to Cheltenham today to sign up a new victim.

Wonder why she didn't call in on that event that Yawn was at as it was only a few miles away?? Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 06/06/2018 17:46

Maybe that's the future. I know many on this thread, myself included, would like to see legislation enacted to protect people from the thinly-disguised pyramid schemes that MLMs are.

We should have designated spaces where they can gun each other to death, and ban any activities outside of those.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 06/06/2018 17:48

*hun, not gun (although that idea does appeal).

Spongebobette · 06/06/2018 19:00

death by gunning.

Not a pretty sight

Paddy1234 · 06/06/2018 19:07

Hunger Games style format
My monies on Roomie however Castle bot would fight dirty underneath that exterior

Spongebobette · 06/06/2018 19:16

OMG OMG I typed death by HUNNING

ArbunneHun · 06/06/2018 19:23

...aaaaand cue 87 bot statuses talking about online bullying and death-threats via Mumsnet and using it as the excuse for why they didn’t get a cheque this year!

Spongebobette · 06/06/2018 19:58

I don’t think any of them could risk mentioning Mumsnet, their minions might actually look!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 06/06/2018 20:03

@Spongebobette - I'd take the bullet every time.
