anyone work in a passport office?

if a friend passport is in her single name and she's married is it OK for her to sign the children's passport applications in her single name? Don't have many friends locally who are both respectable enough to fill in the forms and have known us long enough.

I don't work in a passport office but so long as your friend signs in the same name as her passport you will be fine

Had to do this myself recently. Signiture must match the passport name.
