For some reason I have a vision of them sitting around a table for an evening meal, and the centrepiece is a pot with a pair of feet emerging from the broth...

Paddy1234 · 17/05/2018 22:02

Just went into Yawn's website.
It reads 'have helped 1,000's of people achieve life changing incomes'
You could read that spiralling into debt is indeed life changing I suppose so there is some truth there.

PopPopRadio · 17/05/2018 22:03

Thoroughly enjoyed your new article Too Busy. Very well done and as someone who likes to use a graph or two, I appreciated them especially.

The Sun article was good. Stopped short of being anti-MLM but I'm sure it will have helped to sow the seeds of doubts among the shrinking pool of potential sign ups.

My only worry is that in our celebrity obsessed culture, will people be too blinded by seeing the celebrity endorsements to care about the messages in the article about the poor business model and health risks.

Last year I helped run our local festival and took great delight in blocking someone's application for a stall as I spotted the word Tropic in her name which kind of undermined her claim to want to sell handmade luxury skincare products.

This year I've ended up chairing the whole festival committee and I've got a bot who wants to perform in one of the music tents. She hasn't mentioned Arbonne as yet or asked about a stall but I'm intrigued to see if she will when we meet to discuss the music stuff.

Unfortunately for her though, I have implemented a strict no MLM policy on the stalls and it is part of the conditions they have to read and sign when buying a pitch. This is not a wealthy area of town and I will not have people preyed upon during our day of fun, music and good times.

Be alert but receptive, PopPop. She may have left the MLM world and be trying to re-establish herself.

It's always possible, anyway. Wink

PopPopRadio · 17/05/2018 23:18

A profile snoop reveals a morning shake post as recently as last month and several about regular sales pitch meetings. Definitely changing my state of readiness to Bot Con One!

cozietoesie · 17/05/2018 23:20

Ah well...... If she's trying something .........under cover of darkness, you'll no doubt be ready. Wink

cozietoesie · 17/05/2018 23:25

I wonder if her 'music event' will be based on eg nursery rhymes for eg new mothers to interact with their new children? Wink

PopPopRadio · 17/05/2018 23:55

That would be very funny but away from the MLM she is a proper singer and musician so I'm sure that won't be a problem.

Just been spraying BotWatch's brilliant article over the comments sections of our local FB selling page on any MLM post. Blocked by one seller before I could even read her response to one post so that was her time loss there.
I can't work out if her blocking us means we cannot see the post or if she deleted it? I did notice every single one was from at least 100 miles away.

'Just maybe' she's trying her hand at a real performance, then, and not some way she can.......harvest likely prospects? Stranger things have happened. Wink

SSDGM · 18/05/2018 01:36

Caught a Vida bot on a selling page using weight loss pics that were actually achieved with Herbalife shakes today. Oh, The irony!

BangingOn · 18/05/2018 05:56

I’ve been thinking about the intentional use of poor grammar to attract a certain demographic, along with downplaying previous career achievements. It is evident in all but one of the Bots I follow, whether they be JP or FL.

The one exception is the purple Poonique bot I follow, the very naice, middle class florist. I think she must be going after the bored Home Counties Mummy, her posts are generally very well written and her photos are gorgeous. Had I not been educated by threads like these I could easily have been taken in by them. Not many other Bots seem to be positioning themselves this way, does any else follow her? I’d be interest to see what you think.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 18/05/2018 11:57

Yawn must have seen your post Norma, gym pic just in!

Mlmcringe · 18/05/2018 12:27

One of the FLP mid-level bots I follow seems to be going rapidly downhill. Last year she got bonus level 1. She claimed she wasn’t going this year due to just having had a baby... why do I suspect that she just didn’t qualify?! She’s also having a half price sale for the royal wedding. The level of discount is way more than what she offered previously. I suspect she’ll be back to work within the year.

Norma27 · 18/05/2018 12:35

Ha ha twenty I saw that! Could be anywhere that pic tho.
Why does she always have a bag of stuff in the pic too. If I do a class I have my bottle of water and that’s it. We have lockers at my posh gym.

I was thinking for all we know that is an exercise bike at home!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 18/05/2018 13:04

Yes Norma, her gym pics are usually more panoramic, taking in the plush surroundings.

She's still not taking the bait with the crap spelling & grammar on the 'emerging supper feet' post though.

Norma27 · 18/05/2018 13:15

Think I need to emerge my supper feet twenty. I mite du that later after a glass off whine.

The bike look looks like it is on floor tiles. Could be fabric ones tho I suppose. Don’t know what flooring David Lloyd has. I think I am fairly posh going to virgin gym! Definitely can’t afford David Lloyd prices. My sister in law’s family pay 2 1/2 times what I do for DL.

ArbunneHun · 18/05/2018 13:37

Most gyms offer an off-peak membership for people who don’t want to use it in evenings/weekends... she might be doing that.

I’m surprised there’s not more royal wedding-themed pushes from bots. I’d love to see something cryptoshitty from Wig’n’Sleaze. I think of them as our own Harry & Meghan of low-rent scams.

SSDGM · 18/05/2018 13:50

I saw a Forever bot get torn to shreds on a running FB Page this morning. She was asking for 5 people to do a “cleanse”. This page is super anti MLM and the bot absolutely shit herself when she came back to her replies. She was roundly told to fuck off and take her “cold spunk” with her. 😂

Interestingly there was someone on there who said she had lost 7lbs in 5 days on a c9 and she had “done a few”. Turns out she is diabetic. How dangerous??

entrepeneur · 18/05/2018 14:12

Did Maelle ever make a comeback?

Tizzlebizzle · 18/05/2018 14:37

I have seen that gym photo somewhere else a while ago. I'm sure I have because I remember being confused by the calories burnt v distance covered....

Twentytwentyhindsight · 18/05/2018 14:52

So it's quite possible that Yawn is posting 'stock' photos in response to posts here- that is hilarious!

Jonsey32 · 18/05/2018 16:04

I think she is actually. The nail varnish gives it away!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 18/05/2018 16:12

TBF, the trainers look not dissimilar to a pair purchased in Dallas, and the bottle looks like a recent re-branding, so maybe it is not that old?

BangingOn · 18/05/2018 17:44

I am blocked by Yawn so sadly can’t do a reverse image search on Google
