I am trying to log onto the consumer action group website atm to see what they say about it.

I am in the midle of one claim for a friend and just starting my sister-in-laws and also my brother is just starting his.

Bugger - I actually have the first letter waiting to be sent off for Abbey and Lloyds, was hoping to do my garden with the claim

It took Natwest ages to send me my statements and I only sent the claim back last Tuesday by recorded delivery. At the end of the day it is still unlawful with regard to the charges they have charged so hopefully it will be ok.

Not necessarily if like me you sometimes forget to transfer money over and get shafted for it by maybe 2/3 hours. I don't know the ins & outs of this case but I would assume that by not providing enough evidence it may be that he was using an unauthorised overdraft to live on or something. I don't believe for one minute that First Direct deserve to take 30.00 from me because I didn't phone them until the next morning to transfer the funds from another account, also with them. I have yet to make a claim, but will still be doing so.

Could be interesting though i have now been waiting six weeks out of the eight they are allowed to see if i will get refund. Hope there was more to this story if judge camt to support the bank charges being lawful
