Removing defaults from credit file

I have 2 defaults on my credit file August 2012 (£1000) and July 2012 (£740). This was 6 years ago so know that I can now get them removed - how do I do that?

You don't have to get them removed, they will disappear automatically once the 6 years are up, so in July and August 2018.

They’re not 6 years old yet? They will be in July and August.

You don’t need to do anything to get them removed. Your credit file is updated every month so they will drop off within a month of their original dates.

As others have said, think of your credit file has a rolling 6 year conveyor belt of history. As soon as the 6 years are up on an event, things are no longer visible.
