Healthy start maternity grant

Hi all, I’m 17 and ds is 7 weeks old I have had a struggle getting income support but finally got it! I sent the forms off for the grant 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything?

What do you’s reccomend to do?

Give it some time, often it takes 5 days for a dated DWP posted letter to arrive. Plus with all extra Bank Holidays over Easter. You can ring them Tuesday to check but I think 2 weeks would be fast for them to get forms, open them, check details, authorise payment and then write back to you.
