QQ re child tax credits and school hols

Just a quick question as I am totally confused by the numerous web pages on tax free, tax credits, childcare vouchers for childcare once a child starts school.

I am a lone parent. DC starts school in Sep this year, I work full time so need holiday cover (can't expect GP's to help)

So I will need holiday clubs etc.

What are my options re paying for childcare? Can I still claim tax credits for the cost outside of school hours? Or am I best to do tax free childcare or childcare vouchers?

TIA

Yes still claim tax credits, add up your holiday care costs and divide them by 52. Give that figure to hmrc.
