Transferring Euro75,000 to UK

What is the best service to use to transfer Euro75,000 to the UK?

I have experienced awful exchange rates and charges when being paid in Euros or US dollars by Natwest, and don't want to lose, potentially thousands, but have never dealt with this kind of sum of money before.

I also want it to be safe.

Have a look at Transferwise

Have you also looked at any potential tax implications ?

I also recommend TransferWise

I’ve used Moneycorp and Fairfx, to transfer currencies back to sterling. I work for a UK company and we have customers in the USA and Europe and so regularly get paid in Euros and US dollars. Give them a ring and ask them to give you a price, and they are very safe.

BritinUS1 it is a gift from Dh's mother to him and she is under the impression there are no tax implications (unless she dies in the next 7 years). I am going to check this with my accountant before we transfer the money.
