Does anyone work for DWP? ESA queries

Hiya,

I'm on ESA, went to tribunal and won.

I was awarded 2 years which runs out Jan 2019

I want my partner to move in. For reasons I don't want to share they have no job right now, not claiming anything and are living with parents. They would be entitled to ESA too because of disability.

If they move in can I just add them to my current claim?

Will I have to reapply or anything?

I think it would depend what type of ESA you are both entitled to. if you were both entitled to contributions based ESA you can both have separate claims. If income related then one can be added to the others claim.
