Natwest Tip

I've just had a good experience with Natwest so thought I would share with you lot just in case anybody found themselves in a similar scenario as me.

They took £96 worth of charges out of my bank this morning which I wasn't expecting, left me with £20 until I get paid next week which I obviously couldn't live on. I had an unexpected car issue last month which made me go over my overdraft hence the charges.

Anyway, I called them up and explained I was in dire straits and offered to pay the charges on Tues if they could refund the cash until then.

They told me that as a goodwill gesture they would refund all charges from this month and any charges due out next month as a result of this drop below my overdraft.

So if you find yourselves in a sticky spot with Natwest charges, give them a ring and explain your situation and they will help you out. I've banked with them for over 10 years and never knew this'
