Universal credits

I’ve recently made an application for universal credits as that’s what the benefit system is in my area now (no longer tax credits)

I’ve done everything I need to do online but I now need to attend an interview at the job centre. I have no idea why I need to do this as I work full time, I’m not looking for another job, can anyone shed any light on what the interview is for?
