Hello, myself and my partner are looking at rent a house/flat he’s had good credit but I do not. I am currently paying off 2 loans so this obviously gives me bad credit. Which makes me worry. Whats the likelyhood of us being able to rent a property through a letting agents? Would it help if I can offer to have a guarantors?

Thank you.

Having 2 loans doesn't give you bad credit. If you're on time with payments, it can actually improve your rating.

The agents will need to see that you can afford the rent. So if you earn enough to afford the loans and the rent easily, there shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah a guarantor will help if it's someone close to you like your parents or a sibling.
