How to obtain up to date isa amount, for dwp, when the statement is not due for months

Just that really.
I have given DWP my last statement of my savings which was a last year date, ie the yearly paper one.
They won't accept it as being the most recent, and I won't get another till June this yr
I rang bank and they said I could go into a branch and get a dated print out, but the amount on it will be the same.
Help

But it will have a more recent date on it - it is all you have - if you closed the account today then they wouldn't give the interest that's due to go on at the anniversary. Or would they? Either way, the date is key!

Go get the dated print out.
Provide it alongside the statement (take photocopies for your own files) and a covering letter explaining it as you have here.

OK, I'll do that next week, it's a long car journey to nearest branch.
I was just concerned about the amount being the same!
My claim for benefit has been put on hold because of this, bloody annoying as I physically took my statements in to job centre to be copied last week, again a long journey.
Thank you. I'll also phone DWP Monday.

Good luck!
I know its annoying but often the quickest way is just to give them what they asked for.

Thanks again

Often these mini statements don't have the date of printing on them. If that is the case, the bank should have some kind of date stamp they can use.
