Can I vote tomorrow if I can't find my poll card?

Neither dh nor I can find our poll cards - they're obviously in a safe place somewhere . Anyone know if we'll still be able to vote or not, if we take some other form of ID?

I suspect not, but don't want to not vote if I can.

I haven't got mine either! I can't recall them coming and I am always really good at sending back forms etc. I think I sent back all our stuff online this year.
But then, I did lose a lot of memory along with the placenta....

You don't need it. If you know you've had it but you've just lost it you'll be fine, they just look up your address on the list.
If you didn't get one, it may be because you're not on the voter's list for some reason. But I didn't get one in the last election, even though I was on the list - someone had just screwed up. I still voted.

I've just given my address and confirmed my name in the past - the clerks have lists of everyone and just tick them off. Never shown ID - the back of my polling card says "This card is for information only. You can vote without it, but it will save time if you take it to the polling station and show it to the clerk there."
