AIBU to think that it is not necessary for my ex husband to trawl through every single transaction on my bank statements and ask about every single thing on there?? Is this really necessary?? I thought the sole purpose of bank statements was to simply check I hadn’t any massive amounts of money coming in or going out and wasn’t sat on a huge pot of money??? The only asset I have is the house which is jointly owned and I have asked for his permission to sell thus even though I have a child under 18. Any thoughts from anyone? TIA

Is this form E for financial for disclosure as part of your divorce?

Do you have the same opportunity to go through his bank statements?

Yes it is. He has submitted his bank statements however, I haven’t really looked at them as I know he has no assets and I’m not really interested in what he is spending his money on. I just don’t see how this is relevant to financial disclosure.
