Financial Scammers

I am sick to death of being contacted by Scammers, the worst was a sophisticated two person scam on the phone to my home where they were trying to get my bank details. The second today was Citizen's Advice re my "loans".

How do you respond when you get these calls? I wasn't polite today to them. I am most worried about how they get my details.

Add your number to the telephone preference service which will reduce the calls but won't fully stop them. Can you get caller id and bar withheld numbers? I don't have a landline anymore and if they ring my mobile, the number often shows as spam courtesy of Google, so I just don't answer it.

Just put the phone down on them.

How do they sleep at night doing this to people?
