So as not to drop feed..

Moved to a house after a separation, my ex screwed me over on things and any savings I had have gone.
To top it off a year into the house move the landlady moved back in and I had to move again.

I moved to the house I have on the assumption that my daughter was going with me..a week before I moved she decided she was moving in with her bf and so I'm in too bigger house. No money to be able to move again re deposit.

I am self employed and struggling for work, I've tried and tried to get work but what do you do?

My cars horrendous and constantly plays up, financed and I can't px or sell as the equity is too high.

Ive cut back on everything I can so now looking to see what else I could do?
Do people like BT help at all? I've been in the house a year now so can I change deal?..(only asking before I sit and waste an evening to be told no)

Stressed😩

Have you enquired as to whether you might be entitled to any benefits such as housing benefit or working tax credits or universal credit if that is up and running in your area? Can you consider taking in a lodger if your landlord would agree ? Are you claiming single occupancy discount on your council tax?

Get a lodger?

Or advertise your spare room on air b n b?
That way you can charge more per night and accept / refuse bookings when you feel like it.

PS re work get registered with as many recruitment agencies as you can find and then phone them all up at least once a week to see if they have anything for you.
That’s the best way to find work IME.

Thanks for the replies.
Can't get a lodger..or infact anyone in the house due to my job (childminder)
Problem is I have a child every day when I need more but it's gone seriously quiet.
Looked into HB and get minima tax credits and cut back everything I can.
