So, am now a single mum with another baby on the way. Currently living in Essex but with no support at all. My folks are buying property in Yorkshire & my aim is to follow them up in the summer of 2019.
Just sat & worked out the basic costs of private renting & figured I need a ball park figure of £2100 to cover deposit, first month & admin fees. I have 19 months to save that!
Currently on JSA (left job in November, desperately searching for another so hoping income changes!). My in bank income each month is low as expected but will increase when i go on maternity. I'm struggling to see how best to save £100 a month!!
My Sky is as low as i can get it (has this when working, cost to end it is not much different to keeping it!)
Mobile phone is also lowest, same issue as Sky so can't cancel it.
Water/gas/leccy are all lowest i can get.
I meal plan & shop accordingly. Am cautious with my fuel!
Please somebody thrifty chuck some ideas at me...i really want to make this happen!
