How long do points on driving licenses last....

Ah yes. Just found the Q&A leaflet but thanks Custy. (DH opened it as it's his car.. sadly I was driving it..). Was wondering what the "...however the points remain on your license for a further 12 months due to any outstanding proceedings at which time you may then apply to DVLA to have them removed.." meant. You should write the leaflets!!

Actually, 3 hours after finding out I have a speeding conviction and deciding (other than the guilt feeling of knowing I WAS speeding) that I didn't really care all that much in the great scheme of all the other crap going on in my life at the moment...

..I suddenly feel like a hardened criminal! This is a proper "criminal offence" isn't it. Isn't it??

I could not longer, should I wish to, apply to any of those jobs ads which specify a "full clean driving license".

Bloody hell.

Who else has points on their license?
