Hi everyone, so I am having a major issue with Argos at the moment!! Starting to get on my nerves. At the beginning of Nov I bought a product which cost £90 and I paid for it via my paypal account, it got delivered to my local Sainsbury's and I collected it from there.
It was faulty so I messaged Argos and they said to bring it back to the local store. I did that and they said they refunded money back into my Paypal account and gave me a receipt. To this day there's no sign of the money! I live chat them 3 times, one person said it takes 7 working days, another said 10 and eventually I flipped and said sort it out and give me my money back! One of them said that the issue is with Paypal cos once they have issued the refund there's nothing they can do?!
I've never had an issue getting money into Paypal from any company and I've been with them for years. I messaged someone one last time and she told me that on the system it says that the product has not been returned when it bloody well has!! I am getting so p!ssed off.
They don't have a complains department because "they endeavour to resolve any complaints" haha!! I am considering taking this up to trading standards.. or what else do I do before I go ahead and do that? Is there certain timescale?
It's been 20 days and still no money.
