PureCard/BT Prepaid Mastercard

Where on earth can I spend this? The website just says 'most places mastercard is accepted'. Has anyone used one recently?

I had one last year and used it everywhere I would use a credit or debit card, so say you go to the supermarket just pay with it as you would any chip and pin card, MasterCard is accepted most places.

Have you logged on to the account as I'm sure that is where the pin no .is as you will need this to spend it.

I logged in and activated it and got a pin.

I've tried in 3 shops now. Asda, b and m, and a charity shop that took Mastercard.

I'm wondering if it's a flaw with the card.

Oh, how odd. I spent mine in Wilko, Waitrose, Iceland and the Shell garage and it was fine. Did it just not work when you put it in the chip and pin machine

No and it didn't work swiping it either. Thanks though - you're giving me more confirmation that the card isn't right somehow and I'll try and sort it tomorrow.

Ours just worked everywhere we used it. Pub, shops, booths etc.

I used one recently in the Nike store I think you can use it anywhere that accepts MasterCard
