New driver insurance.

So DS age 17 has his driving test today. He started learning at end of July and has had 30 lessons.
It took 7 months for DVLA to clear him as safe to drive. He has no restrictions thank god (autistic).

I’m so scared. Does anyone know of a good insurance company for new drivers????

It's going to be costly but we used direct line.
My ds (18 when started) has ins in his own name with me as 2nd driver. That saved a few 100. He also has a black box that links to an app that tells you how they're performing

No one can recommend a specific insurance company as your policy price will depend on many other factors apart from age. The best advice I can give is to add an older driver as an additional driver on the policy (ideally with no claims or points) which should bring the price down a bit.
Aside from that just use the comparison sites to find the cheapest quotes.
