i did just ring the tax credit people but they werent sure how much im entitled to yet. im not going on income support or housing ben as dh does give us the 750 to live off plus the odd nanny job i do here and there pays cash.
i have 2 kids under 10 so does anyone know what i'd get?? if i was on income support i think it'd be £78 a week.. but living solely off the money dh gives me..

Could you visit your local CAB? They have a computer programme which can tell you whether you'd be better off on IS or not. It would also tell you how much in tax credits you might be entitled to, plus housing benefit, etc.

For two kids you'd get about £75 a week tax credits. You'd have to declare how much nanny income you have but as long as this is not over 13,000 it will not reduce the tax credits.
If you were working more than 16 hours a week on average then you would get some working tax credits and this ammount would depend more on your income.
For tax credits the money your husband gives you for the kids is not taken into account, this is different for IS though I think.
