I'm trying to help my mum claim back her bank charges from Abbey.We initially sent off the first letter,enclosing £10,asking for statements/bank charges going back 6 years.She recieved a letter back saying they had been microfiched and could only have statements going back 6 months.
She then phoned them and they said they would get them off the microfiche and forward them onto her.They never arrived,so nearly 2 weeks ago she wrote to them,giving them 2 weeks to supply the information otherwise she would be starting court action.She still hasn't heard anything,so now we're a bit stuck as to what the next step is.Should she send yet another letter or will she need to start court action now,does anyone know please? If the latter,then how does she go about doing so?
